Dane Adrian of Squint

Rock Band

Indie rock band, Squint, and their lead singer Dane Adrian formed in a tiny town called Houghton in the northernmost part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Squint's first major independent album, Beeker, came together over a four-day recording and mixing marathon studio session in early 1998. It landed them shows with such bands as the Goo Goo Dolls and the Toadies, as well as the Mentos tour with Stroke 9. To keep the forward momentum building, Squint recorded 11 new songs with legendary producer, Ed Stasium. Music from Tinsel Life has already gotten Squint named Band of the Week by both Band Radio and Rolling Stone in 2002, and Squint was nominated for The New Music Award for the 2003 American Music Awards. They have also been awarded the ASCAP Plus Award for three years in a row and their music has been heard on television stations such as the Travel Channel.
